Handling Automated Invitations during Azure Shift

Changes in User Management

As part of this transition, we'll be implementing user login management via Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD). This means users will utilize single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) using their Microsoft credentials to access our applications such as Catalyst, Ontario, Diligent, or Compass.

What to Expect

You may receive an automated invitation email from Microsoft and EBM. Please accept the invitation if you receive it to proceed. While these emails are not spam, they may initially land in your junk folder.

Microsoft requires end-users to accept an invitation to join EBM's Microsoft tenant to access Catalyst. However, we intentionally suppress the invitation email to avoid redundancy, as the option to accept the invitation is built-into the initial login process the first time you access the website. This ensures the process isn’t disrupted by the invitation email being overlooked or landing in spam. 

1. Accept the invitation on the login page: The first time you log in, you’ll initiate and accept the Microsoft tenant invitation automatically. Follow any instructions presented to complete the process.
2. Troubleshooting login issues: If you encounter login problems, it may indicate the invitation prompt was not accepted. In such cases, contact us, and we’ll resend the invitation email to complete the process, see below: 

• Check your email: Look for an email from Microsoft inviting you to join our Microsoft tenant.
• Accept the invitation: Click the link in the email and follow the prompts to accept the invitation. Ensure you’re logged in with the same MS365 account tied to your Catalyst user profile.
  
  

Note: EBM has moved hosting to Microsoft Azure as of 2025, meaning we no longer host passwords. Your account will be fully managed internally by your in-house Microsoft 365 system.
