Overview

This release improves visibility and control within scenario management while reducing unnecessary system processing. New enhancements in Catalyst make it easier to understand scenario editability and give teams more flexibility in how and when scenarios are refreshed. By limiting unnecessary updates for low-priority or historical scenarios, these changes help improve overall performance and reduce contention during peak processing times. Additional fixes address analytics connectivity, deployment timing, currency accuracy, and environment setup to ensure a more stable and reliable experience across the platform.

Catalyst

• Lock Status Visibility: A new “Lock Type” column has been added to the Scenario Management grid, allowing users to quickly see whether a scenario is Unlocked, Partially Locked, or Fully Locked. Users can sort and filter by this column to focus on relevant scenarios, and hover details provide additional context such as lock periods or mixed lock states. This helps prevent accidental edits and makes scenario governance more transparent and predictable.
• Scenario Scheduling Options: Scenario scheduling has been expanded beyond Hourly and Daily to include Weekly and No Schedule options. Weekly scenarios automatically process on Saturdays, while No Schedule allows scenarios to be refreshed manually only when needed. This gives teams more control over which scenarios run regularly, helping reduce unnecessary processing and improve overall system performance.

Bug Fixes (4)

Catalyst – Power BI Credential: Fixed an issue where expired credentials caused embedded dashboards and reports to fail to load or refresh. The connection has been reauthorized to ensure analytics load reliably and scheduled refreshes run without interruption.

Performance – Delayed Release Deployment: Resolved an issue where unnecessary background processing extended deployment times and caused overlap with other scheduled jobs. Deployment windows are now shorter and more consistent, helping ensure updates and data are available as expected.

Platform – Currency Exchange Rates: Corrected the exchange rate update process for newer instance types. Rates now refresh only in supported environments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date currency conversions across reports and planning workflows.

Platform – DNS Automation: Improved instance provisioning by enabling automatic creation and removal of DNS records through our provider. New environments are now accessible immediately at their intended URLs, eliminating the need for manual setup or support requests.
