Release Version: Sprint 2026.10.1
Release Date: 10.16.2026
Overview
This release introduces significant enhancements to data organization within Smartload. Additionally, we have implemented critical fixes to user group management and project synchronization to ensure a more reliable and seamless administrative experience.
What's New
Smartload
Custom Column Sorting for Attribute Tables: Users can now define a specific "Sort By Column" for attribute tables within the Smartload interface. This allows for logical business ordering of categorical data—such as sorting month names chronologically rather than alphabetically—directly within the cube configuration. This native control improves report readability and eliminates the need for manual labeling workarounds.
Platform
Enhanced Data Resource Resolution: The system now provides parent database and storage path information directly within instance lists. This technical improvement allows for faster and more accurate resolution of data resources without requiring additional lookups, leading to better performance for integrated tools.
Bug Fixes
Catalyst
Improved Validation Messaging: We fixed an issue where specific validation errors during file uploads were being hidden behind generic error messages for non-administrative users. Users will now see the actual validation feedback, allowing them to correct data issues more efficiently.
Platform
User Group Name Updates: Fixed a bug that prevented administrators from renaming user groups if the original creator was no longer active in the system. Group names can now be updated by any authorized user regardless of the group's origin.
Project Synchronization Reliability: Resolved an issue where new projects were occasionally failing to sync correctly with security groups. We implemented a more robust synchronization process with automatic retries to ensure that project access and user populations are always accurate.
