At EBM, we regularly enhance our systems to deliver new features, improve stability, and ensure top-tier performance. This article outlines our maintenance schedule and standard release cadence so you know what to expect and when.
Reserved Weekly Maintenance Window
EBM reserves a maintenance window every Saturday between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM CT. This time is set aside for critical updates, such as:
-
Emergency fixes
-
Security patches
-
Microsoft upgrades
-
Infrastructure adjustments
Although it is rare for us to use this window, it’s essential to have a dedicated slot to address urgent needs outside the regular release cadence. Having this buffer protects system stability and ensures we can act swiftly if needed.
Biweekly Release Cadence
EBM also follows a biweekly release schedule, with updates deployed every other week to client environments. These updates include new features, bug fixes, performance improvements, and system maintenance. Standard deployments result in little to no noticeable downtime.
While most releases are silent, you may occasionally experience brief downtime or application unavailability during your scheduled release night or the Saturday maintenance window. This is expected and temporary.
There is no need to restart or manually re-run jobs — any paused processes will resume automatically once the deployment concludes.
