Overview

This release includes 2 new features and several targeted bug fixes focused on improving reliability, usability, and clarity across Diligent, Catalyst, and Smartload. Highlights include the return of key Diligent tools for restoring cube connections and Excel access, a cleaner System Status experience for Smartload users, and fixes that strengthen hierarchy validation, exports, and consolidated table behavior.

What’s New

Diligent

• Cube tools restored in the sidebar: The Cube Updater and Excel Add-In Installer are available again, making it easier to restore cube connections and set up Excel access without leaving Diligent.

Catalyst

• System Status refresh controls for Smartload users: Refresh buttons on the System Status page can now be hidden or disabled when they’re not relevant, reducing confusion and helping users focus on the actions that matter.

Bug Fixes

Smartload: Hierarchy validation has been strengthened to prevent the same column from being linked across multiple hierarchies. This avoids conflicting setups and improves overall data integrity when managing complex hierarchies.

Diligent: Downloads are now more reliable, with the system confirming a file exists before enabling the download option. Consolidated tables that reference combined columns from source tables now build and display correctly, improving confidence when working with dynamic cube structures.

Platform: Large table exports from Query Builder are more robust and no longer fail due to size limitations, allowing users to export wider datasets without interruption. These improvements also make the export process more stable and maintainable over time.
