Overview

This release delivers 5 new features and 19 bug fixes across Catalyst, Diligent, and Smartload. Highlights: cleaner query labels in Diligent, independent allocation controls for Actuals vs Pro-Forma in Catalyst, traceable file history, calculated columns on attribute tables, and smarter data-cleaning in Smartload’s load path. Users should see clearer UX, fewer upload quirks, and more reliable processing.

What’s New

Catalyst

• Allocations per scenario type: Configure allocations for Actuals and Actuals Pro-Forma independently to avoid unintended GL adjustments in pro-forma analysis.
• Power BI workspace backups: Automatic backups for linked workspaces preserve reports and models, supporting quick recovery and version access.

Diligent

• Cleaner Query page labels: Clearer prefixes from data sources, columns, and tables for simpler naming and easier model discovery.
• UX polish: Crisper buttons, clearer role options, and tidier Help/Support access improve day-to-day navigation.

Smartload

• Calculated columns on attribute tables: Add dynamic values (for example, current date) directly in attribute tables; linked cubes update accordingly.
• Add fact tables to existing hierarchies: Expand a hierarchy by selecting additional fact tables without rebuilding from scratch.
• Unified special-character cleanup: Built-in step removes problematic characters earlier in the load so uploads and downstream jobs are less error-prone.

Bug Fixes

Diligent: Fixed attribute-table sync failures when relationships referenced custom columns; file history now shows the correct uploader and preserves Excel formats; initial Excel upload icons display properly; calculation names can be edited in Cube Management; Column Visibility works on first load and on mapping tables; mapping hover menus and tooltips no longer flicker; refresh prompts appear when backend table changes; custom columns respect Smartload null-handling; table refresh with combined-column mappings provides clearer errors; Accounts tooltips align with their actions; wizard setup handles running jobs more gracefully.

Smartload: Manage Relationship now shows correct columns on first selection; sample creation handles tables with no relationships; relationship creation includes safeguards to prevent errors; CSV replace/add no longer throws false errors when columns auto-update; CSV upload navigation no longer duplicates log entries; CSV append avoids double-file logging.

Platform: System Status shows job end time, not start; semantic-model validation handles apostrophes in scenario names; compatibility and role issues during reprocess are handled with clearer guidance; permission explosion correctly covers Client Admins and reactivation; Last Active persists in the user’s time zone; deployment pre-upgrade scripts are more resilient.
