Microsoft is performing planned maintenance on the systems that power Catalyst cubes, dashboards, and reporting. This may cause temporary issues with data access during the following window:
π Start: Sunday, July 20 at 10:00 PM CT
π End: Monday, July 21 at 10:00 AM CT
β±οΈ Estimated impact duration: Up to 6 hours (within the 12-hour window)
What to Expect
During this window, you may experience temporary disruptions or error messages related to data access and reporting tools that rely on Azure Analysis Services:
Excel: Cubes may not load, and you may see connection or login errors when refreshing or interacting with Catalyst data.
Power BI: Both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service/Fabric app may show errors or fail to load visuals tied to the cube.
Embedded dashboards in the Catalyst UI may appear blank or error out.
The Reports tab in Catalyst may temporarily stop working, as it pulls directly from the cube.
The System Status Page may show jobs as βPendingβ during this period.
Additionally, while your data integrations and overnight jobs will still run and pull in data from your ERP and other sources, final processing into the cube will be delayed during the maintenance window. This may result in slight delays in data availability from the prior business day.
Whatβs Not Impacted
You will still be able to:
Access your Catalyst website and contents
View and edit data within the Planning pages
Use Manage Actuals on the Admin page
Why Weβre Sharing This
This maintenance is being performed by Microsoft, not EBM. These updates are routine and often complete in just a few minutes. In some cases, you may not notice any disruption at all, but we want to ensure you're prepared just in case.
If you experience issues after the maintenance window ends (after 10:00 AM CT on July 21), please donβt hesitate to contact support so we can assist you.
Thanks for your understanding!
